Jeremy Ashburn
I’ve had an interest in technology from an early age. In my middle teens I joined an Asheville based computer company by the name of Uptime Computers. There at Uptime I was exposed to all aspects of computer repair: building systems from the ground up, upgrading hardware, and how to solve typical PC problems. In time, I grew to become a fully fledged computer technician.
Later as I progressed through college I continued my interest in technology. After graduating from UNC Charlotte in 2002 I entered the work force doing graphics design. I later joined Kimmel & Associates as an Executive Recruiter in the Transportation Industry. Through the years I’ve custom built my own computers, designed my own software, and upgraded hardware again and again.
Computers and technology continue to fascinate me. I find it absolutely amazing how fast things in the computer world has evolved in such a short time! No doubt about it – technology has become my chief passion. I’ve made it my mandate to highlight the technology available now and to keep a keen eye on future trends.
