Use your PSP to read comics
DC Comics offers up 80 titles on the Playstation Portable (PSP) including more than 25 that are free in the Playstation Store. There is also exclusive content only available here.
To view you use the PSP’s Autoflow Viewer to scan the comic frame by frame, zooming in and out with the touch of a button. To use just download the latest firmware (6.20) and select the “Digital Comics” icon under the “Extras” column on PSP’s XMB menu.
TechSavvyMama points out that it could be a way to sneak in some reading for those who are reluctant.

Controllable Controller
Love your PSP? Unwilling to trade it for an ipod touch or silly Nintendo upgrade? I can understand where certain people are coming from, but that doesn’t mean improvements can’t be maid. After all, the ipod touch does respond to user motion, not simply buttons.
Fear not Playstation lovers, your time too has come. If you’re looking for a little more game involvement Codejunkies has the fix for you. The TiltFX is a small sensor that clips onto the lower left corner of your PSP console and, once attached, responds, like the ipod touch and iphone, to the movement of the console itself. Think of the difference it will make in your travel sized racing skills. For $20 it’s much less pricy than owning two consoles at once.
Flight Entertainment
If you’re flying from Korea you no longer have to worry about packing a book for your flight, just $3.50
Jin Air (a subsidiary of Korean Air) is now offering to rent passengers PSP Go’s for $3.50 a flight. Forget packing an extra bag of game cartridges, books, and laptops for long in air entertainment, let the airline do the packing for you. They charge enough for bags anyone, who can afford to bring an extra one these days.
Comics not in Books
Digital comics are even more accessible today than they were mere weeks ago. The PSP (Playstation Portable) has recently opened its comic store. The store contains comics from Marvel, IDW, Rebellion, and Disney.
At the playstation site you can download a reader for the PSP so comics will be easily accessible once downloaded. Comics themselves are pretty travel friendly to begin with, but traveling with 100 different titles will still be much easier on a digital screen, taking up only one pocket.
PSP Go available Oct. 1
Sony’s new PSP go can download games, videos, music and more to an ultra-portable new 3.8 inch LCD screen handheld system. The system comes with 16GB flash memory. You can download content on the PlayStation Network or use built-in Bluetooth support to connect to a wireless headset and use Skype to talk with friends.
The device is 50 percent smaller and 40 percent lighter than the original PSP. It weighs about 5.6 ounces and has a USB 2.0 and Memory Stick Micro slot. The games will be smaller in size too. Called Minis, they will be capped at 100 MB or less for quick download over Wi-Fi. At least 50 games will be available by the end of the year, including Tetris and Sudoku
PSP go will cost about $250.
Pick a Flavor
Sony is following Apple’s lead at last (in the handheld department at least).
Sony recently announced the release of its PSP gaming handheld in four new colors (blue, red, yellow, and green). Originally the system was only available in black (just as iPods, back in the day, were only available in white).
Individualization is important, I remember the excitement that ensued when Apple released the original iPod mini, its first foray into a diversified pallet. Options never cease to impress.
